We visited this Restaurant last week. It is a nice place, directly across the harbour. We ordered the Fish & Chips and were surprised about the high quality of every Item on the plate. The battred fish was very excellent and the chips has been top of the line - Thumbs up.We come back - definatly.

Delicious, authentic food and friendly staff. They have a general menu with scampi and burgers and then their specials menu has amazing quality fish dishes. We chose the sea bass but could easily have had anything in the menu.Cadgwith is a beautiful, small fishing village well worth a visit.

Crab sandwich was wonderfully fresh and delicious. Crispy chips were cooked to perfection. Topped off with views of the cove and fishing boats makes for the perfect lunch stop.Did I mention that they make home-made donuts with lashings of jam and cream? Heavenly.

The food was great, I had a bacon, brie and cranberry panini which was excellent. Also a cream tea with warm scones and plenty of jam and clotted cream. It was very sheltered so no wind and the service wasn't slow.

So first off, I never ate food here... It was a pit stop from a coastal hike I had just finished and in the way back to the car. However, I wish I would've come back to eat. The first thing you need to know is that this is a seafood place... And the sea food they cook is literally offloaded from the dock just a few yards away... It doesn't get fresher!!My wife had the crab bisque and she said it was just terrific...a definite 5 star. The restaurant itself is kind of tucked into a grotto of sorts right off the street. It has a lot of character. I wish I had had the fish and chips... Perhaps next time!
